Question: Hello, I am a 39 year old female and about 8 or 9 months ago got very sharp pains in and around middle to upper back (very painful) and still get dull pains in shoulder/shoulder blade on right side mainly. off and on dull pain in right breast also. And occasional pain that goes down right arm.

would like to add that i have a father and a cousin who have ms, and my right eyeball has been hurting couple times but only recently like within the last month. I do not have any tingling or numbness though.

Brief Answer:
Muscle spasm likely to be the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

There are two possibilities to consider with respect to the back pain that you mentioned. It seems that it had occurred due to spasm of back muscles. The other possibility is due to compression of spinal nerves that exit from either side of the vertebral column. Both of these causes could also be simultaneously present. This could also be the cause behind the pain radiating to your right arm. Hard to comment upon the cause behind the pain in your breast. Needs clinical correlation but muscle spasms are a possibility.

Taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits should help in alleviating muscle spasms since juicy fruits contain a lot of potassium which is needed for proper muscle contraction. Hot compress would provide relief.

About the pain in your right eyeball, it is hard to comment without getting your eye power checked but eye strain could be a cause. In that case, proper relaxation is important.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
Clinical examination required

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond faster.

The mentioned problem could be due to problems with the sacroiliac joint. A clinical examination is needed in order to make out the exact position and thereby the underlying cause. An X-Ray of the hip might also yield some clues.
