What Causes Pain In Lower Right Abdomen And Back Radiating To Leg?

Question: Hello, I am a 48 yr old female of a healthy weight. I am having a number of strange symptoms - none are causing concern on their own, but the collection has me wondering about my reproductive health.
1. Lower right abdomen and lower right back pain with pain going down my leg - lasting 30 days at a time then going away for a couple weeks and starting again.
2. Rapid heart beat, very noticeable - used my cell phone to measure - was going from 58bpm to 100bpm lasting about 10 minutes. This happened all through the month of XXXXXXX and into July and mysteriously stopped.
3. Heaviness in the chest, normal heart beat now. Odd feeling of anxiety like too much coffee (only one to two coffee per day)
3. Brain fog to the point it take me time to remember my son's name or what car I drive. I can still solve complicated problems and have creative ideas. Just the recall - feels like my brain is "Drowned".
4. My cervix feels larger than normal to me. I have Mirena IUD so I check. It is lower in my vagina and longer and larger in circumference.

With my age I am assuming some kind of perimenopause but I don't have any hot flashes. The pain in my lower right abdomen certainly feels like an ovarian thing. So, should I see a doctor or just watch and wait?

Brief Answer:
Perimenopausal changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

These symptoms are more likely to be due to perimenopausal changes.

Starting HRT might help you to get over these symptoms of forgetting and increased heart beat.

Ovarian mass you are describing needs to be identified by ultrasound scan. Please see your gynecologist for the same.

Let me know if you need any more clarification.

I did not describe an Ovarian mass - what do you mean by this?

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required for right lower abdomen pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I meant to say pain in right lower abdomen which is possibly due to small cyst in ovary. Anyway it is difficult to identify without an ultrasound scan.
