Question: If a male patient is experiencing pain in the groin area down to the testicle, after urinating, could this possibly have a root injury in the vertebral spine area L5?

I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.
If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,my clinical explanation would have been-Radiating pain from groin to testicle specifically associated with urination is not likely of neurological origin.
Still,if urologist has ruled out the urological basis.I would advise you to get examined by a neurologist.He may ask you to get a MRI lumbosacral spine done,if indicated to rule out any radicular involvement.
