Brief Answer:
Eye pain can be because of inflammation of the glands of the eyelids.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.

The pain in the eye on closing the eye lid can be because of inflammatory condition of the glands of the eyelids. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops like ciprofloxacin eye drops 3-4 times a day. Use of analgesic and pain killer tablets will provide symptomatic relief.

The uncomfortable feeling in the head may not be related to the eye condition, any how the use of analgesic tablets will provide relief from this problem also.

Hope this answers your question.

Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

This can occur in cases of primary headaches like migraines or in cases of sinusitis.
An examination with your doctor will be able to point out the cause. If the same feeling persists or recurs then you need to consult your doctor, otherwise no need to be worried about it.

Hope this answers your question.
