Question: I am waiting for a MRI in two weeks. I have had pain from my back to my groin, hip and leg. Today I woke up with a line of small brown brusies dime size along my hip and rig cage on the same side I have my pain

I appreciate your concern.

The MRI that you have been advised is most probably for the referred pain that you mentioned, though you did not mention the area, i assume the MRI is for the spine.

The presenting complaint is of small bruises along the hip and rib cage on the same side where you experience pain.

I would advise you to go to an E.R immediately to perform an Ultrasound to look for any blood collection or active bleeding.
Coagulation profile ( PT/APTT, INR, ) CBC, should also be done to look for any coagulopathy.

You may also upload a good quality picture of the lesions to have a better look at it. Please mention the medications which you are currently using.
