What Causes Pain In Abdomen And Tip Of Penis?

default
Posted on Tue, 6 Oct 2015
Question: Hi, I have occasional pains in the tip of my penis, rectum and abdomen. I suspect a hernia or the failing of an old hernia repair from 15 years ago. I feel the pains 4-5 times a day. This has been going on for one week.
note - laying down does not improve the symptoms. The abdomen pains are on the right side. Many times I feel the abdomen pain at the same time I feel a sharp pain in the tip of my penis.

Brief Answer:
get USG whole abdomen and urine routine examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX ..
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Pain abdomen and pain in tip of penis are not features of new hernia or recurrence of hernia.
Such pain is more common in ureteric and renal stones or urinary tract infection.
You should get Urine routine examination and an ultrasound of abdomen which are good enough to establish or rule out a diagnosis.
It is also advisable that you should consult a local surgeon after these investigations.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
