Brief Answer:
Suggested ultrasound scan abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
After seeing your blood test report, the values are almost in normal range except for direct bilirubin and ALT which is nothing to worry. The cause for your right side pain (liver region) must be evaluated in detail.

A pain in the right upper abdomen can be due to
1. Increase in liver size due to any disease condition or infection.
2. Presence of any liver abscess if fever is present.
3. Any gall bladder stone or obstruction to bile flow.
4. Small stones in the right kidney.
5. Fluid collection in and around the liver.

In the above conditions especially gall bladder stones and kidney stones are commonest cause of a pain in right side upper abdomen. This has to be confirmed with an ultrasound scan abdomen and pelvis.

I suggest that you please get an ultrasound scan and then proceed to consult your doctor for any relevant treatment as per ultrasound findings.

Please not that alcohol consumption and irregular meals can also cause pain and this needs to be corrected. Please stop alcohol and eat healthy foods.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
