Brief Answer:
Probably a gastroesophageal reflux

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking in HCM

I can understand your concern

As you explain the history this kind of pain might be from gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).
It is usually associated with or without an abdominal discomfort or a chronic dry cough.
It happens more in obese patients.
If you were my patient i would recommend you to do either some tests as follows :

ECG
Chest X Ray

To exlude cardiac and lung problems that sometimes may appear as stomach discomfort.
Meanwhile you can use antireflux medications (like Refluxend once ) be careful with foods and alcohol and to have dinner early in the afternoon.
If you are overweight better to lose some.
If the above tests are positive than the relevant specialist will advise you further,if not you don't need to do any other tests.
So take care and feel free to ask me again
