Question: Hello I'm 26 weeks pregnant. I drink plenty of water so I know I'm not dehydrated. When I pee it's clear and my discharge is clear but when I wipe it's orange. Why?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to low lying placenta or dry vagina.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild orange discharge on wiping can be due to local infection in the vagina or a mild spotting due to a low lying placenta. Excessive exertion or inadequate rest can also cause such mild blood stained discharge. It is best to get an ultrasound scan and vaginal swab culture and urine routine test done to rule out any infections and to know the baby's well being.
