What Causes Numbness In Upper Left Abdomen?
Need more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Numbness around left upper abdomen radiating to spine could be due to temporary spinal nerve root compression or lack of blood supply to the particular area or could be seen in diabetes, thyroid state or vitamin deficiency. It should be further evaluated by clinical examination and some relevant tests.
But before further discussion, please provide me some more details.
Since when you are having this symptoms?
Any other symptoms associated with it like abdominal burning or back pain?
Any history of disease like diabetes or thyroid?
Any history of injury or trauma or surgery recently?
Kindly provide me these answers,I will give my opinion after that.
Awaiting response.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for sharing more information.
Since the feeling numbness is from 3 days,it needs further evaluation.
For that,I would advise you to go for various tests.
Check your blood sugar, vitamin B12 and D level.
As it radiating towards spine,I would consider MRI scan of spine to be helpful to rule out spinal nerve root compression for which you will need to seek appointment to some local physician who will know about it.
Till the time, you should take complete bed rest and take light food,
hot fomentation at numb area,
take antacids (like pantoprazole 40mg) whichever suits you.
Occasionally, this numbness symptoms is temporary (due to superficial nerve root compression) and get resolved on their own within few days, but it is always better to be concerned.
Hope this helps.
