Question: Hi, i'm using nicoderm for two weeks then the arm, which i usually put my nicoderm on, is numb. I'm wondering if this because of nicotine overdose. What do you think?

There are two possible reasons for the numbness on local application site.

First, it is one of the common side effect of nicoderm patch which is not problematic and just need assurance that nothing is wrong. There are many sensory symptoms you can encounter due to it, including burning, itching, redness.

Secondly, it may be due to overdose. It is suggested for every 10 cigarettes used, take 2 mg every two to four hours. In case there is much more dose in compare to this calculation you need to cut down the dose.
