Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms do not seem to be related to any cardiac disorders (including myocardial ischemia).

Gastro-esophageal reflux or a hiatal hernia could be the cause of this symptomatology.

Anxiety could also mimic this situation.

Have you tried to take any antiacids or PPI (omeprazole, lansoprazole)? I would recommend trying them in the next days. If your symptoms are relieved by these drugs, it would be a strong argument in favor of gastro-esophageal reflux or hiatal hernia.

In such case a chest X ray study and a fibrogastroscopy would be needed.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
