What Does The TMT Test Report Mean?

My father's TMT test report says "CARDIAC STRSS ANALYSIS NEGATIVE FOR INDUCIBLE MYOCARDIAL ISCHEMIA AT AVERAGE WORK LOAD 93% OF MAXIMUM HEART RATE RESPONSE".

But a Cardiologist Interventional has written POSITIVE TMT for inducible ischemia. Can you please clarify what this means and action that needs to be taken?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The comments mentioned by cardiologist are relevant and further action needs to be taken.
The TMT interpretation means that the cardiac muscles are under stress or are ischemic when under work load increases.
In such a situation, cardiac angiography needs to be done to assess the cardiac blood vessels for obstruction.
Consult your cardiologist for further work up.

Thanks and take care
