Brief Answer:
Get x-ray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

You try to avoid weight lifting as much as you can with immediate effect. Take complete rest for at-least two days but you can do your daily routine works.

You have not mention any history of fever, small joint pains so I am believing it to be normal.

You should get x-ray chest AP and x-ray shoulder AP view and send me the report.

It may be a simple muscle fatigue if every thing is ok on x-rays.

Till then you can take 1 tab. aceclofenac+thiocolchicoside three times a day by prescription of doctor.

- Apply hot packs for 30 min in morning and evening .

I hope it helps.

I had a co-worker give me a simple upper spine adjustment today and it seemed to help drastically, almost completely relieved the discomfort, so I would like to know at this point if you would recommend chiropractic treatment, as this pain had begun after 6 days of intense driving of a truck, could my neck have somehow gotten misaligned, and resulted in muscle spasms that affected my chest, arm, and shoulder muscles?..thank you for your first reply, I will consider it.

Hi,

Thanks for your query again.

Instead of chiropractor rather I would advise you to take rest for 3 days and have medication as advised below and if you want to have some consultation you can consult with orthopedic surgeon who after doing your physical examination advise you strengthening exercises which are also uploaded on you-tube.

Till then you can take 1 tab. aceclofenac+thiocolchicoside three times a day by prescription of doctor.
