What Causes Missed Abortion?

Question: I have conceived in the month of March it was of 7 weeks pregnancy , on 27.04.2014 , it got aborted, i recognized it by bleeding thn immediately i went for ultrasound in reports there was some prob thr was no growth . I am not able to find any reason for that.
I have consulted with Gyene on this , even they not able to give exact answer for these .
I am scared it might be because of contraceptives which i have already taken ... I am worried if it reoccurs ... what should i do ?? what all precautions i can take ?? when can i plan next....
I was taking Dubagest as advised by gyene

Please advice what could be the possible reason, what are chances tht it will not happen again

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. Contraceptive pills will not cause pregnancy to occur. They wont cause missed abortion.

2. The most common reason for missed abortion is generally chromosomal abnormalities which have stopping of fetal growth.

3. Dubagest was a good support. Not to worry.

4. This condition is unlikely to repeat. Take folic acid tablets while trying for next pregnancy.
