What Causes Mild Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking Morning-After Pill?

Question: Hello. I took some type of birth control pill (can't remember type) The first month was good got my period on time. The second month I had discharge and little bit of blood all month. I stopped the pill after. 3 weeks later or maybe a month later I had unprotected sex. I took a pg test and results came negative. Maybe I did it too early. I am a few weeks late. And had unprotected sex again. But this time took morning after pill. Just recently I had brown discharge the next day after taking the morning after pill in hope of blood. But it stop. Not sure what to do here. I have had 1 child before she is 5 now, but I have no symptoms of pregnancy.

After taking a morning after pill, the mild brown discharge is normal and it does not rule out a pregnancy.
It is best to wait for at least 2 weeks after the last unprotected sex and test your urine to rule out pregnancy. Do get a blood test after that to be very sure. In case the periods are still delayed then take hormonal pills after consulting your gynecologist to bring the periods.
