Brief Answer:
could be due to muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the query

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to muscle strain.

1.You can do hot compress or hot fomentation on your back

2.You can apply absorbine plus jr or voveran thermogel after that.

3.If pain is more you can take pain killers like Diclofenac/Ibubrofen also.

4.Avoid running/strenous exercise/lifting heavy weights. Rest for 3-4 days from moderate to heavy physical activities also is required.

5.If there is no improvement then you may need muscle relaxants. You can take zydol for 3 to 5 days. These are prescription drugs. You can ask your local doctor for it.

Other are possibilities are Disc Prolapse, Discitis, Spondylosis. To confirm the same the doctors run few tests like X-ray or MRI of your spine.

Most of the back pains fully recover with complete bed rest and later with appropriate physical therapy.

Take care
Regards
Dr Priyanka
