What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

default
Posted on Wed, 30 Jul 2014
Question: Hi,
I have pain around the lower right side of my stomach.
it started about 1.5 months back when I faced a lot of pain after one of the party (Alcohol included). We went to a hospital and they said that it was because of something called "hyperacidity". I was admitted for a day. Pain slowly resided. But it keeps poping up again and again.

Brief Answer:
Is it stomach or abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Is the pain on lower right side of abdomen? It may be appendicitis. The diagnosis can be confirmed with an ultrasound of abdomen.

You should see a surgeon.

If it is acidity, then antacids like rantac etc can be taken.

Hope it helps.
