A few more information would be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

To help you better, the following information from your end would be required :

1) Are you married and sexually active ?
2) When was your last period ?
3) Did you record your fever any time ?
4) Do you have any kind of discharge per vagina ?

Till I get your answer, you could try an anti spasmodic drug, along with a proton pump inhibitor.

Hello, yes sexually active, but unsure why you need to know if I am married. last period was the last week of July. I don't recall a fever at all, but my lower abdomen is quite warm to touch. No discharge.
ì have taken a pregnancy test and it did come up negative.

Brief Answer:
Further investigations are needed as advised.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX ! The main idea was to know about your sexual activity. Now that we know about it, I would advise you to go for a urine routine, microscopic and culture sensitivity test to rule out a UTI (Urinary tract infection) at the outset specially because of your urinary symptoms. Appetite could also be lost due to the UTI along with the discomfort in the pelvis possibly due to a co existing pelvic infection, which prompts me to advise you for a vaginal swab culture sensitivity as well.

If I were your doctor, I would not stop without excluding any chances of a pregnancy by going for a serum HCG estimation and an ultrasound abdomen which would also rule out any other pelvic pathology for your discomfort in the pelvic region. Urine preg test is not a confirmatory test for pregnancy.

Till the above are done with , you could go for an anti spasmodic and a proton pump inhibitor for a symptomatic relief. Reports of the investigations would decide further course of action and management.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
