Brief Answer:
Seems to be allergic rhinitis with polyp.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having loss of sensation of smell.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be allergic rhinitis with allergic polyp.

Partial loss of olfactory sensation quite common with allergic rhinitis. complete loss suggests polyposis.

I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon. Detailed ENT examination, olfactory test ( checking smell sensitivity), CT scan of para nasal sinuses ( anatomical abnormalities- deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, pathological extent- sinusitis, polyp) may be needed. Depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, continue amlodipine, nasal spray and pregablin, reduce the usage of ponston forte ( NSAID group, can cause allergy).

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
continue same spray.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Nasal sprays are the main stay treatment for allergic rhinitis, it contains minute amounts of steroid and absorbed locally. No serious side effects. You can stop loratidine (not advisable for prolonged periods).

Kindly evaluate as soon as possible for complications like polyp or asthma. Related to hypertension, continue amlodipine as per your cardiologist.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
