Brief Answer:
Benign enlargement of prostate and frequency .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
As you mentioned that stream lost the force .
This may be due to enlargement of prostate ( however, as you mentioned that you are also taking flomax for this purpose).
Ultrasound of prostate find out the size .
Diagnosis can be confirmed by rectal examination by a surgeon ( urologist ).
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is most common after 60-70 years of age in male .At first it is nocturnal , the patient being obliged to get up to micturate twice or more during the night , usually commencing at 2 or 3 AM.
Frequency gradually increases and finally , in neglected cases , frequency is further encouraged by cystitis , and polyuria due to renal insufficiency.
As you mentioned that stream lost.
Now if RETENTION is there, consult a surgeon and CATHETRIZATION is only an option and this is an EMERGENCY.
If still urine is passing and if you don't feel any distension ( on the pubic region ) consult your doctor and get a surgery as a regular case .
Hope this will help you.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Regular case means not as an EMERGENCY CASE

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXX
Once again ,thanks for asking.
Regular case means not as an EMERGENCY CASE , if urine is flowing ( may be drop by drop and there is no abdominal distension ) means don't consult any emergency room and get a surgery after a plan ( by you and your family , just because of monetary reason ).
Hope this will be helpful for you.
Good luck.
