Question: sir my name XXXXXXX i am 39 yrs old from past few months i am feeling lazyness throughout the day while working, from past few yrs while eating sweating starts (pasina) from my head ,some thing like nervousness.

Brief Answer: Rule out Hyperthyroidism Detailed Answer: Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day Dear Mr XXXXXXX Let me first reassure you things can be taken care. Let's analyse your symptoms and discuss the solution. Laziness(Low energy level) and sweating especially while eating following possibility are to be considered 1. Anxiety Neurosis/ State: Stress is part and parcel of our day to day activity. But excessive stress can lead to such symptoms 2. Dumping syndrome: There is hypotension while eating which usually causes sweating. It occurs due to consuming large volume feeds in short time (hurried eating). 3. Hyperthyroidism: Excessive thyroid hormone can also have such presentation 4. Fluctuations in sugar level. I would suggest you the following investigation 1. Thyroid profile: Serum T3, T4 and TSH 2. Fasting blood sugar level and post prandial blood sugar: minimum 8 hours of overnight fasting and sugar 2 hours after breakfast If the investigation are normal there is no cause for concern. In the meantime I would suggest you the following which will definitely help 1. Avoid dehydration: Follow Rule of 1. 1 glass full of water before and one glass full of water 1 hour after food. It will ensure adequate intake of water. At the same time will not affect nutrition. Avoid water during meals 2. Iron and Multivitamin supplements 3. Regular exercise: 30 minutes of brisk walking everyday I is the best exercise. Walking releases endorphins which build positive energy 4. Small quantity frequent meals: eat slowly, chew food properly. Instead of 3 large meals have 6 small meals. Good breakfast at 7 am , light snacks at 11 am . Lunch at 1.30 . Evening 4 pm snacks Glass of milk at 6. Light dinner at 8 5. Avoid alcohol/ caffeinated beverages 6. High fiber diet 7 . Two serving of fruits per day . Include citrus fruit 8. Brief Answer: Low Hemoglobin and raised CRP Detailed Answer: Namasthe Dear Mr XXXXXXX Thanks for providing the reports. Lets analyse your reports 1. CBC: Hemoglobin is on lower side(12.2gm%). Your counts are normal. Corrective measures: Deworming with Albendazole 400 mg single dose. Start Hematinics like Tab Orofer XT Twice a day for 2 months, along with that Cap Becosules Z Twice a day for 2 months 2. Biochemistry: Your sugar levels are absolutely in normal range. Uric acid is only slightly on higher side 7.8( normal till 7) which is quite okay 3. Lipid Profile: Within normal range 4. Testosterone level : Normal 5. Thyroid function test: Within normal range 6.Urine examination: The pus cells could be possibly be due to contamination of Urine with skin(presence of epithelial cells signifies contamination). In the absence of Urinary symptoms its not significant. 7. C-Reactive protein(CRP): Its significantly elevated 23.7(normally should be less than 5). It signifies presence of underlying Infection The most commonest infectious cause which needs to be considered and ruled out is Tuberculosis, in view of sweating especially if you have loss of weight and appetite. Do you have other symptoms like 1. Cough 2. Loss of weight 3. Loss of appetite 4. Neck swelling I would suggest you to consult your physician for thorough physical examination and further assessment.
