Brief Answer:
It might be an allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, Welcome to healthcare magic. I understand your concern.

In my opinion, it might be an allergic reaction to sanitary napkin as it started after using them.
As there are no bumps it might not be infection.

Stop using that particular sanitary napkin brand and change to another one. Apply moisturizer to relieve the dryness of skin. Wear loose cotton inner garments. Always use mild soap to wash the vulval area as the skin in this region will be sensitive and harsh soaps might make the skin dry and itchy.

Take antiallergics like cetrizine tablet once or twice a day depending on the response.
Apply corticosteroid ointment over the area to relieve from itching.
By following above measures it might subside in 4 to 5 days. Don't worry.

Hi doc. Just a follow up. Even if I stopped using the brand of sanitary napkin, i noticed that it becomes itchy, turns erythematous sometimes with burning itch.. Now I change underwear three times a day because it might be a hygiene problem but it's still there. I tried using cotrimazole for two days now but it still becomes itchy and sometimes burning .

Brief Answer:
It might be infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Welcome to healthcare magic. I got your query. I understand your concern.

In my opinion it might be allergic reaction to napkin or infection.
Sometimes allergic reaction also might take a week to subside even after stopping the causative agent.

Sometimes due to tight inners there will be no proper evaporation of sweat leading to chaffing of skin leading to bacterial and fungal infection. These infection might cause itching and redness.

Try non medicated dusting powder and apply corticosteroid ointment 3 to 4 times daily. Wear loose cotton inners. Use any bland soap to clean the area as said in previous reply.
As there are no lesions you need not worry.
Mostly it might subside by above measures.

If not consult a gynaecologist for further course of management.

Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to ask any more queries.
Best regards....Dr srilatha
