default
Posted on Wed, 18 Feb 2015
Question: First started out having an itch on the top of my clitoris. Now about a month later my feet, and wrists itch so horribly that I cant sleep. There is one teeny tiny bump on clitoris, but you cant even see anything on other parts of my body. What could be causing this?

Brief Answer:
this can be fungus or probably allergic dermatitic lesion

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

The very fact that the symptoms started with an itch over clitoris indicates a possible fungal infection and the tiny bump could possibly be a molluscum lesion.
The itch is has extended to wrists and feet , then these areas are more prone to allergic dermatitis .It is better that a local examination of the lesions is sought from a dermatologist and if required a swab smear may be taken from the itchy areas and sent for culture to isolate any causative fungal or bacterial or viral organism.
ONCE AFTER CONFIRMATION , YOU MAY START ON DIRECTED TREATMENT. In the meantime you may choose to use antihistaminics like tab CETRIZINE 5mg twice a day for 5 days, to reduce the itching and promote relief.
I hope i have answered your query,
regards
