In November she had her period but this month she didn't. Now she having these symptoms that sound a lot like pregnancy symptoms like nausea breast tenderness a Littke weight gain and morning sickness there has been no spotting just those symptoms. She think she is pregnant and I think it's side effects from the shot. Could that be a huge possibility?

Brief Answer:
thank you so much for your question, I will do my best to help.

Detailed Answer:
I can certainly understand your concern, however there are two pieces of information that I will need in order to figure out what is going on. you mentioned that she took her first deposit shot on September 5th. that means that she should have had her second shot in early December, did she get that shot on time? also, did she take a pregnancy test? please let me know and we will get this figured out.

No she has not took a pregnancy test she is taking one sometime today. But she says she has high risk pregnancy so she scared she gonna miscarry. I just want to know the possibilities of her actually being pregnant or is she just playing mind games or over thinking. Cuz the symptoms she is claiming to have all seem to be symptoms from the depo shot. And no she didn't take her second shot she doesn't want to do depo no more

Brief Answer:
thank you for your answer, this is very helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since she did not take the second shot, it is possible that she is pregnant, though it is unlikely. she is probably having these side effects because her body is withdrawing from the shot and starting to get back to her normal cycles. it is common to have hormonal fluctuations and these types of symptoms when you are coming off of the depo. she is probably not pregnant because the shot usually lasts longer than three months. however, since it is possible that she is pregnant, she should take a pregnancy text just to make sure. she should speak to her doctor about starting some other forms of birth control to prevent pregnancy in the future.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.

Yes I'm a strong believer that it's just side effects but she saying if it was side effects she would have gotten them in September when she took the shot. But I'm sure side effects don't happen immediately. Thank you for your answers she agreed to take a pregnant test at home after work today so I guess that will give us the answer we all been waiting for. Thank you once again and have a merry Christmas

Brief Answer:
hope you have a merry Christmas as well!

Detailed Answer:
I actually think these side effects are because she is withdrawing from the shot, so she would be having them specifically now and not when she first got the shot. however, glad she is going to take the test and you will have your answer. hope you a a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
