Brief Answer: Stress cannot cause Afib Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this follow up. Stress is very unlikely to cause Afib. I hate to take a one time abnormal finding and generate it as the real order of things. If it were for real a pathological cause responsible for this Afib, you would not have negative findings n testing. I will simply advise that you let fall this thought and should more information in future suggest that we look into this again, I will gladly do so. It is also unlikely to have been caused by binge drinking. Unless it was caused by a permanent and identifiable factor unless it becomes a recurring problem.
