Brief Answer:
need more history please

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I am sorry you are feeling this way. Can you please provide additional information and then I can tell you more specifically what might be going on.

Questions I have for you:
When did this start?
Does it occur all day?
Have you ever had this before?
What medical problems do you have and what medications do you take for them?
Did you exert yourself physically more in the last couple of days?
Have you had a sudden stress recently?
Is it a feeling of weakness? Light headedness? Jitteriness?

Thanks - information to follow after I hear back.

Ihave had this in the past. Would last for a few hours and then leave. This time it's for the last 2-3 days. I have not exerted myself physically anymore than I normally do. I do workout however. Am limited right now due to torn miniscus. I'm on synthroid, protonix, diltiazem, diovan and a statin. No more stress than usual. Do feel jittery - sometimes slightly nauseous. Feels like buzzing in your body but for the most part I am able to function.

Some thoughts on this:

Detailed Answer:
Looking at your history and medications, here are some thoughts:

I see that you take Synthroid, so I assume you have a history of some type of thyroid dysfunction. It's possible that your thyroid is releasing more thyroxine or that your Synthroid dose is currently more than you need. For this, I suggest you go in to your doctor and have a TSH and free T4 (or T3 or both) checked. Even if your thyroxine level has been stable for a long time, this can change.

Anemia can cause some jitteriness - might be good just to get a CBC.

If you have any shortness of breath or light headedness with this, it would be good to go in to dr or urgent care where they can listen to your heart and do an EKG with a rhythm strip on the EKG.

Anxiety is a master trickster as it can manifest in medical symptoms without our being conscious of any thing that we are worried about. I only offer that as a possibility, but anxiety should really only be considered if it is either obvious, or the medical possibilities have been ruled out.

I would also check a chemistry panel for electrolytes (sodium, potassium and glucose).

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
