What Causes Increased Ocular Discomfort After Taking Combigan?

default
Posted on Mon, 14 Dec 2015
Question: Have been taking Lumigan at night for years. Due to slight increase in ocular pressure, was prescribed Levobulonol 5 or 6 months ago. After intermittent bouts of irritation, was given new prescription for Combigan a week ago. Am experiencing severe irritation and decrease in visual accuity and not able to see Dr. Until late next week. Am considering dropping Combigan and continue Lumigan at night only for now. Is this ok, or do you have other recommendation?

Brief Answer:
Withold Combigan

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I have worked through your query in detail.

It's always advisable to stop using Combigan in case of any ocular discomfort.

Go ahead with only Lumigan until you see your doctor.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
