Brief Answer:
Panic attack

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

What you have described is a classic presentation of a panic attack. However , other causes need to be ruled out especially in the presence of thyroxine intake. An EKG should be done to look for any cardiac cause for the symptoms. Pulse oximetery, ABGS and electrolytes, blood sugar should be done as part of the metabolic profile. Heart rate should be checked if elevated then beta blockers like propranolol should be prescribed. Benzodiazepines like lorazepam can also be given to calm you down and have a restful sleep for the night. Try to have a family member or friend accompany you to the E.R.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
