Question: Hi,

I have been having palpitations for last 2 weeks. Last week I started having pain in the jaw and abdomen. Visited the doctor, he said that the problem is with acidity and sedentry lifestyle (occupational hazard). but even now and then i am getting jaw pain and discomfort. Don't know how to get rid of them?

Thank you so much in advance.

Brief Answer:
Possile TMJ pathology? Needs confirmation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

Predominant Jaw pain consistently cannot be solely attributed to acidity .

Since your cardiac work up is negative for heart disease, you can be rest assured.

This pain can be evaluated primarily for a temporomanidibular joint/TMJ, through MRI scan along with a complete oral examination.

Meanwhile analgesics like flexon will be useful on and off.

Further treatment is largely based on the results of the MRI scan.

Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.
