Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Most retention cysts of maxillary sinus can spontaneously regress over time and no intervention is usually needed. There is no association with hearing loss for such cysts.

Repeated sinus infections can lead to formation of such cysts. They are usually found when an x-ray or scan is done of the sinuses. They are usually asymptomatic but dizziness, headaches, and facial pain can occur. NSAIDs are usually prescribed with decongestants for a week. If there are chronic sinus symptoms, then sinus or nasal surgery may need to be advised to remove the cyst and reconstruct the area involved to prevent reoccurrence.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
