Brief Answer:
Read below.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Regarding the fact of everything having a greenish/yellowish tint upon awakening in itself it is not worrying. It is a common phenomenon, especially there has been a source of light in the room prior to you waking up. That is because our retina contains 3 types of different receptor cells (cones) which receive different wavelengths (colors). Long wavelength cones (which perceive greenish yellow light) are more receptive to light even when the eyelids are closed, so they are already active when you open your eyes while the other cones start their activity only then and it may take some time to reach balance. In any case if transitory as you describe it, it is not a sign of an eye condition no worry.

As for the headaches if you are not someone who suffers from headache episodes and this is the first time you feel them then they might require a medical evaluation. Since you give not much information on prior history, type, location and duration of headache, other accompanying symptoms it is hard to judge on their character.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
