Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX

I went through your query and can understand your concern with your symptoms. The symptoms that you have mentioned are definitely suggestive of anxiety. However, is it due to Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) or due to some other anxiety related condition will need further evaluation.

GAD is a condition in which a person remains preoccupied and worried about everything in general, including day to day activities resulting in physiological symptoms of anxiety.

I can also understand when you say that you didn't like the medication that you take. Szetalo is Escitalopram and is one of the medications used for anxiety disorders. However, I would have liked to know the dose and the duration for which you actually took escitalopram. Generally, these medications do need 2-3 weeks to start showing response. Moreover, there are many more options other that escitalopram which can be tried for you.

I would suggest that you seek a psychiatric consultation for complete evaluation of your problem. If you don't want treatment with medications, you can also opt for psychotherapy like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which will consist of sessions focusing on learning relaxation and changing any possible mal-adaptive thoughts that might be leading to anxiety as such. You should also start exercising daily as it will help you relax and feel better.

I do hope that I was able to help you with your query. Please feel free to ask any further query that you might have.

Best wishes for speedy recovery.
