What Causes Frequent Urination Post Oral Sex?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Dec 2014
Question: Hi I received rough oral sex only with a condom on the whole time. Far as I can tell the condom did not break. I was careful not to exchange any fluids.
24 hours afterward and now 7 days later I have been experiencing urinating more frequently occasional pains in the penis mainly after urination and some general discomfort.
Definitely no discharge. I admit to a great deal of anxiety which may be worsening symptoms.
Is it really possibly to have caught something?

Brief Answer:
Symptoms due to Urethritis due to trauma

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr XXXXXX

The cause of symptoms is unlikely to be due to STD infection you could have contracted. As the symptoms started soon after it is likely to be due to trauma associated with rough oral sex leading on to mild urethritis.

STD infection has incubation period (time duration between exposure to infection and development of symptoms ). Usual incubation period of infection is more than a week . So the scenario does not indicate an infection as the cause.

I would suggest you the following which will be helpful

1. Hot Seitz bath : TO a tub of lukewarm water add 2 spoons of antiseptic solution. Sit in it for 15 to 20 minutes each session twice a day. The warmthnes will relieve the discomfort
2. Urine routine examination to rule out Urinary tract infection
3. Ensure good intake of water : 2 to 3 liter a day

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
