Brief Answer:
Better to go to hospital

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. I think I can help you.
First, if he's urinating already too much the chances are string that his sugars are not well controlled.
I would suggest testing his sugars and get a better control on the sugars.
Second , yes you are right that he needs a course of diuretics as XXXXXXX as possible.
But there is a strong possibility that his kidney functions are getting deranged.
So diuretic use may further affect the kidneys.
so u suggest going to the hospital.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
