What Causes Fever, Chills, Diarrhea, Bad Abdominal Pain And Headaches?

default
Posted on Mon, 6 Apr 2015
Question: I've had a fever, chills, diarrhea, bad abdominal pain, headache, and low back pain since yesterday afternoon. I took a Naproxen this morning at 8 a.m., which helped my headache and low back pain. My fever got as high as104.2, and has been mostly around 102. My chills and abdominal pain will not subside, and I still have diarrhea. Should I wait until tomorrow to see if I feel better, or is the abdominal pain a reason to see someone now?

Brief Answer:
you should consult a doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the gastrointestinal tract and needs medical attention. You may need an antibiotic along with antiamoebic and antispasmodic for relief. I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated and start the proper treatment as soon as possible to control the infection.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
