Brief Answer:
acute pharyngitis.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having fever with throat pain. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any difficulty in swallowing ?
Is your fever associated with cough ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Here my possibility and further management:

As per your clinical details, it appears to be acute pharyngitis secondary to viral fever. With such presentation, I would recommend you to start anti allergic medication (cetirizine 10mg at bed time) and antipyretic (paracetamol 500mg thrice daily) for couple of days. Antibiotic (amoxicillin 500mg thrice daily) may be needed sometimes.

As such viral fever is self limiting, it will subside on its own. In case of persistent or prolonged symptoms, you need to visit an ENT surgeon. Depending on the examination reports further treatment can be started.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
