Brief Answer:
Non alcoholic fatty liver can occur in diabetes or even normally

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Fatty deposition in liver can occur without hepatitis or liver injury. It can be found in diabetes or even in case of certain normal individuals. In your husband's case there is no fibrosis and so you need not worry. However, you need to get his blood HbA1c and fasting blood sugar levels checked. If he is detected to have diabetes, treatment will help in reduction of the fatty liver. You can get the tests ceruloplasmin, ANA/ASMA, etc. done but I do not think that any of the results will show anything.

Non alcoholic hepato steatosis (fatty liver) is a known entity, not a cause for concern and does not need any treatment. It is meaningless to give Udiliv 300 (effective only if there is biliary stasis, there is no indication of that being the case here) and Nusam 400.

Vigorous workout for 10 days would not give him fatty liver.
