Brief Answer:
Yes, requires a consultation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us,
You have been experiencing symptoms of easy fatiguability, lethargy, low mood, irritability, forgetfulness, nausea and (?)carbohydrate craving. The symptoms you have mentioned are commonly associated with depressive disorder but it requires a duration of at least 2 weeks in order to make a diagnosis. Hence it would be too early to comment.
You have also mentioned symptoms like excess bleeding and increased body temperature in the morning. These problems could be related to an imbalance in the hormones of the body. This could also cause depression-like symptoms which you experience.
It would be advisable to consult a Gynaecologist for a detailed evaluation of the cause of bleeding and to rule out complications like anaemia (reduced haemoglobin). If required, your Gynaecologist may refer you to a psychiatrist.
Hope this helps,
Dr A Rao
