What Causes Fatigue And Weight Gain Despite Having Normal Blood Work For Thyroid Disorder?

default
Posted on Mon, 22 Jun 2015
Question: I have multiple symptoms for hypothyroid but my bloodwork is "normal". How do I find out what is wrong with me? I have some autoimmune markers but not enough to diagnose hashimoto's. Have fatigue, weight gain, hair loss (all over and eyebrows, pubic, etc.) sensitivity to heat and cold, definitely perimopausal also.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greeting of the day

Normal Serum Thyroid profile , Normal anti-microscomal antibody level and normal Thyroid Ultrasound almost rules out possibility of Hypothyroidism as the cause of symptoms.

It would be very helpful if you could provide me the following additional information

1. The duration of symptoms and detailed description of symptoms

2. Kindly provide me details of investigation done , scanned copy will be helpful

Awaiting your response

Take Care
