What Causes Fatigue And Periodic Rapid Heart Rate?

Question: I was never one to take naps but I am so exhausted all the time and my heart seems to be racing lately. I take a a nap and I wake up still tired.Should I be worried?

I have gone through your query.
I'll mention few possibilities which can present with similar symptoms and the investigation that is required, that you can discuss with you doctor.
1. Anaemia -- HB estimation
2. Alteration in blood sugar -- blood sugar testing ( RBS, FBS, PPBS, glycosylated HB)
4. Changes in blood pressure -- get your blood pressure checked.
5. Hypothyroidism -- thyroid function test.

It is better to find the cause and address it, it will be beneficial. I would suggest you to see physician for examination and for this tests. Or do this tests and let us know the report.

Thank you for your answer. I will definitely follow up on this. At least you didn't mention heart attack! My blood pressure is actually all over the place. It always used to be 110 over 60 or 80 and now it can be 120 to 156 over 80.
