What Causes Excessive Sleepiness And Fatigue?
Question: Good evening, My 15 year old daughter sleeps 15 to 18 hours a day. A year ago she had a mystery virus the bloodwork and the Dr could not figure out. Something very similar to mono and ebstein barr. Its back. Her eyelashes are falling out. She is very difficult to wake up. She took a shower the other day, immediately got out and fell asleep on the bathroom floor. She does eat, I have her on a multivitamin. She is 5'3" an weighs 103. She is a honor student and now she can't even keep up in school. No drug or alcohol use. Is she lacking a mineral...vitamin...

She is 5'3" tall and weighs only 103 pounds.

I take back my statement about obesity.
