Brief Answer:
Recommended ultrasound scan testis after consulting your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing in to us.

Closely abutting the testis we have the epididymis, spermatic cord and vessels. Therefore if you feel that there is an enlargement of the normal structures attached to the testis then it is important to consult the urologist and get a testis ultrasound scan done.

The scan will show details of the exact structure, whether there is any enlargement of the testis or epididymis, any engorgement of the veins in the testis or any fluid collection or hernia along the spermatic cord. Treatment is after confirming the condition. Some conditions even though painless, might require urgent medical attention and treatment.

It is urged that you please consult your doctor and request for an ultrasound scan of testis after clinical evaluation.

Hope your query is answered.
