Question: All of my blood work is very good except for a 101 on the GGT test I take blood pressure and cholestral lowering medication and have small asymptomatic gall stones I am 64 and have a very active lifestyle should I worry?

This was yearly routine blood work as part of a wellness exam

ALT and AST normal and all other liver enzymes and bloodwork are normal

no symptoms or any kind I am a non drinker and non smoker

Hi,
Isolated elevation of GT is seen in individuals who drink alcohol and in those who take certain medications like antiepileptics.
You neither drink nor take anti epileptics.
I advice you to repeat the test after 4 weeks.
