Brief Answer:
Diagnosis is the aim right now ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Based on the provided description, there seems to be some amount of fluid retention along with a possible joint condition. The reason why your diagnosis might be a little difficult to make is because your symptoms could either be due to a combination of two conditions (eg. a kidney abnormality along with a joint disorder; or a systemic condition like Sjogren's syndrome). So please be patient ma'am, I am sure with a little time spent at your doctors, we should not only be able to make an accurate diagnosis but also help treat all your symptoms successfully.

Ma'am, if you do not mind could you provide me some information:
-Do you feel sad often or have faced any emotional trauma that makes you unhappy
-Your fluid intake is 3-4 litres a day, what is your urine output like (approximately)?
-Any recent infections?
-Headaches or dizziness?
-Increase in body weight recently?
-Swelling of hands and/or feet?
-Since when do you have joint pain?
-Do you have a good appetite? How much do you eat per day(approximate description of your meals)?
-Details of your menstrual cycle? Duration, amount of flow, frequency, etc.
and any other information that you feel can help me.

The first thing is to establish a diagnosis ma'am, without which we cannot target your symptoms and cannot provide you with effective treatment. So the first thing to do is put forward a list of possible conditions that can cause your symptoms, and investigate to diagnose and rule out conditions from that list. Here is the list of possible conditions in your case ma'am:

-Sjogren's syndrome
-Hypothyroidism
-Diabetes
-Cardiac abnormalities
-Sleep related conditions
-Kidney abnormalities
-Anemia
-Arthritis
-Depression
and a few others.

As you can see ma'am, the list is quite long and requires a doctors visit. Please make sure you discuss the above listed causes and request for the following investigations:
-Complete blood count
-Renal/kidney function test
-Home sleep tests
-RA factor
-Ro or La factor
-ANA
-Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
-Thyroid profile
-Evaluation by a doctor or a psychologist
-Blood glycemic profile
-EKG (ECG)
and other investigations your doctor thinks might be necessary.
