Detailed Answer:
Good day.
Welcome to health care magic.com. Noted your concern. Levothyroxine is generally a safe drug. However, right dosing is very important. May I know what was your TSH and Free T4 levels ? If you experience dizziness with Levothyroxine, ,i would suggest to do an 8 am serum cortisol level as well. In cortisol deficiency, one tend to feel dizzy on taking Levothyroxine with out correcting cortisol deficiency. It may also be prudent to start with a lesser dose of Levothyroxine first. Say to start with 12.5 to 25 mcg instead of 50 mcg. Stopping the medicine completely is not advisable. would appreciate if you could attach the thyroid blood reports.
