Question: NEUROLOGY
About 8 years back when i am turning slowly in to another XXXXXXX in my neighbour hood in XXXXXXX in my car , right side head light of my car hit he back bumper over the back tyre of a water tanker. In that situation i am not wearing seat belt and i just hit my right side of my forehead to the right corner of the windshield of my car ( in my car the steering is on right side and not on left side as in USA). the glass of the windshield gave crack/ That hit caused some pain just for a few seconds tomy forhead then it is subsided after an hour .I did
not seek any medical assistance as i felt there was no necessity to do so and i am comfortable afterwards.
I am not experiencing any symptoms in all these 8 years. My memory is good. No dementia. I can think clearly. Coordination in hands is good.No pain. My motor function is normal. I experience vertigo only which i have first experienced in 2011 because of tinnitus , hearing loss in my left ear. After that i experienced in 2014, 2016 and recently last month which lasts for 3 to 5 minutes and sometimes half an hour. The ENT surgeon told me that i have BPPV because of ear problem and due to cervical spondilosys where C4 C5 and C6 vertebrae are degenerated. The cervical problem is there since 1995. I am now 75 years old , and i have a doubt cropped into my mind now. My friend told me in a chat , that impact to the head often cause trauma in the head in some people .He is not a doctor.
I wish to be clarified ,whether the impact of 8 years old to my forehead cause any lesion in my brain after all these years ? Or else i just forget this and do not be afraid of this? kindly advise.Kindly advise what to do . If you require any further info, i shall submit.
