Brief Answer:
You need antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello

The most common cause for ear discharge is an infection and for that you will need to start on antibiotics.

The cause for smelly nasal discharge is likely to be a sinus infection for which again antibiotics may be required.

The best thing would be to meet your ENT doctor, he will examine you and guide you further.

In the meantime I would advice you to start taking steam twice a day and prevent any water entering into the ear.

Take care

Hello

Yes it is possible that the sinus infection can lead to ear discharge.

For the sinus infection also you will need antibiotics and therefore please meet an ent doctor.

The doctor will examine your sinus and may ask you to do an x ray of the sinuses to see the extent of the infection.

He will also start you on antibiotics for the infection. Please don't delay and meet your ent doctor soon.

Take care
