Brief Answer:
Symptoms due to dehydration and gastric infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

I have studied your case,
There is possibility of aggravation of symptoms due to dehydration and gastric infection.

I will advise to start antacids [proton pump inhibitors like] rabeprazole 20 mg twice a day.
Sucralfate will protect gastric mucosa and will give protective covering.
Gastric hyperacidity can lead to altered mouth taste.
Continue electoral supplement. If dehydration aggravates you may need to consult your doctor for further investigation.

For degenerated disc bulge,
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic [pregabalin] medication can be started consulting your doctor.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

How can the weakness in lower extremity and slow, unsure placement of the feet relate to dehydration and gastric infection? How many glasses per day of electrolyte/water mixture is required for dehydration? Will visit Dr. for rabeprazole, 20 mg., twice a day for digestive problem.
Will discuss neurotropic (pregabalin) and analgesic with Dr.
Could there be an interaction of rabeprazole and pregabalin?

Brief Answer:
Explained below

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Due to dehydration there is loss of important electrolytes like sodium and potassium.
These low levels can lead to weakness of limb.
Gastric infection can lead to dehydration.

Correction of dehydration depends on clinical severity of dehydration.

But as you have disc bulge that can be reason for lower limb weakness.

There is no interaction of rabeprazole with pregabalin.
