Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation along with sonogram.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

The fact that she did not get her period n spite of using the tablets suggests that she may be pregnant if she has always been regular with her cycles and never missed a period. Since Mensovit plus is meant to regularize the cycles and not to induce an abortion, failure to induce a period is a possible indicator of pregnancy.

So, in the current scenario, she needs to see a specialist for a clinical evaluation and a trans-vaginal sonogram to confirm/exclude pregnancy. Further management can be planned after a clarification is arrived at. If she is pregnant and if you do not wish to retain the same, she can have an induced medical abortion under surveillance of the specialist.

Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

Dear Doctor,

Thanks for your quick response. Yes, as you told, she has always been regular with her cycles and never missed a period.

But, She has taken for pregnancy test with early morning urine sample. It showed negative. What is your opinion in this test result.

Still, is there any chance of pregnancy? If yes, is there any abortion tablet to take. Kindly specify the tablet and advise for the same.

Brief Answer:
Ideal time for HPT is 3-7 days after the date.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

If she has taken the test just at the time of the missed period, it ma not read well since urine tests cannot pick up the low hormone levels at that stage; you need a blood test to do that. The ideal time for a HPT is 3-7 days after a missed period.

Now, she can get a trans-vaginal sonogram. This confirms/excludes the pregnancy and if positive, also gives the location of the gestation sac and the age of pregnancy. This is needed as you wish to go for an abortion.

I suggest that you see a specialist in person to undergo the abortion. Online prescription is similar to self-medication and hence is not recommended. Thus done, it may lead to an incomplete abortion with heavy bleeding, infection and future fertility concerns. The occasional chance of trying to abort an ectopic pregnancy which was unnoticed has grave consequences.

Hope I have clarified your query. Please get back if you need more information. I will be ready to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Not pregnant.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

As per the sonogram report, she is not pregnant. The endometrial thickness is likely to be due to excessive estrogen effect.

Withdrawal bleeding can be expected to occur 3-7 days after completion of hormone treatment, so, she needs to wait.

Hope all your queries have been answered. Please contact for any more queries. I will be available to help.

Wish you good health.

regards,
Shanti.V.
